Marianna Bassham to Star in Reckless at SpeakEasy Stage Company

2009 Norton Award-winner Marianna Bassham will star in SpeakEasy Stage Company's upcoming production of Reckless, November 13-December 12, set to play in the Roberts Studio Theatre of the Boston Center for the Arts' Calderwood Pavilion. Scott Edmiston will direct.

Craig Lucas' darkly comic tale is centered on a young woman named Rachel (Bassham ) who, when suddenly forced to flee her home, embarks on a series of outrageous adventures.

The cast will also include Larry Coen (Lloyd), Barlow Adamson (Tom/Ensemble), Kerry A. Dowling (Pooty/Ensemble), Sandra Heffley (Trish/Derelict/Ensemble), Will McGarrahan (Roy/Tim Timko/Ensemble), Karl Baker Olson (Ensemble/Student), and Paula Plum (Doctors/Mahalia Maden).

The creative team will include Dewey Dellay (original music/sound design), Karen Perlow (lighting design), Charles Schoonmaker (costume design), and Cristina Todesco (scenic design).
