The new UK touring production of High School Musical 2 Live On Stage will finish three months earlier than planned, ending its run on February 27. The tour was to have continued through May 29.
The show, written by David Simpatico and directed by Jeff Calhoun, follows the East High Wildcats during their summer break, during which Troy, Gabriella, Taylor, and Chad all land work at an exclusive country club. It features all the songs from the popular 2007 film including "What Time Is It?," "You Are The Music In Me" and "Fabulous."
The show stars Liam Doyle (Troy), Nikki Mae (Gabriella), Les Dennis (Mr. Fulton), Matt Kennedy (Ryan), Laura Hall (Sharpay), Carlton Cornell (Chad), Shakira Akabusi (Taylor), Dina Tree (Martha), and Emma Dukes (Kelsi).
