Broadway veterans Michael Arden and Valarie Pettiford will be joined by Matt Cusson (who replaces the previously announced Ty Taylor) in City of Angels, the inaugural offering in the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts' new Upright Cabaret series. Christopher Lloyd Bratten will serve as musical director for this one-night-only performance on Sunday, November 8 at 8pm.

City of Angels will salute the musical legacy of Joni Mitchell, Doris Day, and Brian Wilson. As previously announced, future entries in the series will include New York State of Mind (February 7), a tribute to Robert Goulet, Billie Holliday, and Bob Dylan; Motor City (April 18), which will honor Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson; The Mighty Mississippi (June 6), an homage to Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, and Prince; and Country Roads (July 11), which will feature the music of Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash.
