Holiday cheer returns to Broadway's Marquis Theatre this season with another visit to a picturesque Vermont holiday paradise in Irving Berlin's White Christmas (November 13-January 3), the story of two showbiz friends who find true love when they ship off to that beautiful hideaway to put on a show. The Tony-nominated Broadway production -- directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, with choreography by Randy Skinner, and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake -- features a cast lead by James Clow, Mara Davi, Melissa Errico, and Tony Yazbeck.

Radio City Music Hall will also mount a new rendition of their long-standing holiday tradition, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (November 13-December 30), filled with classic numbers performed by a cast of over 100 players. There's a third returning production ready to spread some holiday cheer this year. Cirque Du Soleil's Wintuk (November 11-January 3) tells the story of a young boy and his journey to save his lady-love from the cold grasp of the ice monster in a land called Wintuk. Featuring an international cast, this Cirque production is sure to fulfill your child's appetite for high flying acrobatics and excitement.

New Victory Theater will continue their Scottish Theater Festival with a new rendition of Prokofiev's masterpiece, Peter and the Wolf (November 13-29), blending dance and theatrical elements into Peter's adventure. Featuring 10 dancers and an ensemble of eight musicians from the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, this exciting U.S. premiere boasts a brand new prequel with music by Philip Feeney followed by the original 1936 Prokofiev composition. Brian Blessed will narrate. Manhattan Children's Theatre will take on another great author with The Snow Queen (November 14-January 3), based on Hans Christian Andersen's story and featuring book and lyrics by Kristin Walter with original music by Michael Walter.

Literally Alive will dive into Dickens' London with their one hour musical version of A Christmas Carol (November 22-December 30), with the added fun of a pre-performance workshop where parents and children can learn about the original story and how Literally Alive went about turning the classic holiday tale into a short musical. Audience members can also make their own creations, in the style of the show, to take home as souvenirs. NYC Children's Theatre has a Christmas treat straight from the workshop of Mr. Claus himself with Iggy the Elf -- winner of last season's Prancing With The Stars -- and his new show Sing-A-Long with IGGY (November 28-December 22).

Galli Theatre Company will add another production to their rotation of fairytales, Galli's Cinderella (November 7-December 6), the story of a beautiful girl cheated by her vain and mean stepmother and stepsisters and made to do all the housework. For a good story, you can also take a trip to John Jay College for the Extra Thankful November installment of Barnes & Noble @ John Jay Storytime! (November 18). Admission is free, and the Thanksgiving stories from your kid's favorite characters will include Blues Thanksgiving Feast with Blues Clues, Dora's Thanksgiving with Dora the Explorer, The Extra Thankful Thanksgiving with Little Bill, and Winnie the Pooh's Thanksgiving.
